Privacy Policy of Luzia AI

1. Who we are

Luzia AI is the service available at luzia.run, offering AI girlfriend chat with fictional virtual companions. In this policy “Luzia AI”, “we” and “us” mean the team operating that service, and “you” means the adult member using it.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy covers the Luzia AI website, the chat interface and the membership area. It does not cover third-party websites you reach from links or advertisements, which run their own rules.

3. Age requirement

Luzia AI is intended only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and erase the associated records.

4. Account information

When you register we store the email address you supply, a hashed password or the identifier from your chosen sign-in provider, the date the account opened and your membership status.

5. Conversation content

Messages you exchange with a companion are stored so the conversation can continue where it stopped. Chat content is linked to your account and is not published, sold or shared for advertising.

6. Companion memory

Facts a companion recalls — your first name, hobbies, plans, preferences — are kept in a memory profile attached to that companion. You can view, edit or wipe this memory at any time from the chat settings.

7. Payment data

Card numbers never reach Luzia AI servers. Payments are handled by regulated payment processors who return only a transaction reference, the amount, the currency and the result.

8. Technical data

Like most websites we record IP address, browser type, operating system, language, referring page and timestamps. This data supports security, fraud prevention and troubleshooting.

9. Cookies and similar technology

Luzia AI uses strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and session security, plus optional analytics cookies. You may refuse optional cookies in your browser without losing access to chat.

10. Analytics

Aggregated statistics such as page views, session length and feature usage help us decide what to improve. These reports describe groups of members, not identifiable individuals.

11. Legal bases for processing

We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the chat), on the basis of legitimate interests (security, service improvement), with your consent (optional cookies and marketing), and to meet legal obligations.

12. Purposes of use

Your data is used to run the chat, remember conversations, maintain your membership, prevent abuse, answer support requests, comply with the law and improve Luzia AI.

13. Automated processing

Replies are produced automatically by language models. No automated decision taken by Luzia AI produces legal effects for you, and no profiling is used to set prices.

14. Service providers

We rely on hosting, storage, payment, email delivery and analytics providers. They act on our written instructions, may use data only to perform their task, and are bound by confidentiality.

15. International transfers

Providers may operate outside your country. Where data leaves the European Economic Area we use standard contractual clauses or an equivalent recognised safeguard.

16. Data retention

Account and chat records remain while the account is open. After deletion they are removed from live systems within 30 days and purged from backups within 90 days, except records that tax or anti-fraud law requires us to keep.

17. Security measures

Traffic is encrypted with TLS, stored credentials are hashed, administrative access is restricted and logged, and backups are encrypted at rest.

18. Breach notification

If a breach is likely to create a serious risk to you, we notify the competent supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of it and inform affected members without undue delay.

19. Your right of access

You may ask what personal data Luzia AI holds about you and receive a copy of it, free of charge, once per calendar year.

20. Your right to correction

If any information we hold is inaccurate or incomplete, you may correct it yourself in account settings or ask us to do it for you.

21. Your right to deletion

You may delete your Luzia AI account at any time. Deletion removes the profile, companion memories and message history according to the retention rules above.

22. Your right to object and restrict

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and ask us to restrict processing while a dispute about accuracy or lawfulness is examined.

23. Your right to data portability

On request we supply your account details and conversation history in a structured, machine-readable format.

24. Withdrawing consent

Where processing depends on consent you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already happened lawfully.

25. Marketing messages

Service emails about your account are unavoidable while the account exists. Promotional email is optional and every message contains a one-click unsubscribe link.

26. Third-party links

Advertisements and outbound links may take you to sites Luzia AI does not control. Read their policies before entering personal information there.

27. Complaints

If you believe we mishandled your data, contact us first at hello@luzia.run. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country of residence.

28. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as the service develops. The date at the top always shows the current version, and significant changes are announced inside the Luzia AI chat interface.
